Flexible Access Rights - PlanPlus Planit provides user administration with advisor, branch and regional breakdowns. As a corporate customer, you can also choose which features to turn on or off for each level of user, such as counter staff or full planners, based on login access level. Combining these two
features provides almost unlimited scalability built right into the system minimizing the need for customization. This can allow companies to implement the system quickly and efficiently.
Single Signon - Another valuable option with PlanPlus Planit is you can integrate with your existing security and administrative solution - allowing you to use a single signon from your existing advisor portal. This provides a seamless deployment with efficiencies for users by minimizing the duplication of data entry from one system to another
Management Tools - In addition, the Event Log Browser provides summary data on user activity such as documents produced, clients added or needs analysis done. This gives branches and regions the ability to monitor usage and track activities should they wish to do so.
Document Options - While there are over 70 reports and documents available in PlanPlus Planit, most firms will elect to make a smaller group of documents available, for various channels to meet their needs. The Investment Policy Statement and the Personal Financial Strategy are two of the most widely used documents. These powerful tools can position your advisors as the primary problem solver for their clients. They allow advisors to quickly identify a client's current problems and opportunities and provide advice and recommendations that are tailored to the client's specific needs and goals.
Investment Policy Statement
The Investment Policy Statement (IPS) identifies the client's current investment behaviour and provides a proposed investment strategy based on their comfort with investment risk. The risk analysis can be based on the core PlanPlus Planit risk tolerance questionnaire, which is a "Lite" version of the award winning Finametrica risk profiling system. The system can also be upgraded to use the full Finametrica risk profiling system. Many firms also elect to incorporate their own proprietary risk profile questionnaire into the system.
The client friendly IPS document includes a net worth statement, risk profile analysis and recommended asset allocation. It also includes sufficient client educational content to help clients become more comfortable implementing an advisors investment recommendations.
You can also optionally include an implementation strategy using our Security Selection features to provide the client with a detailed buy/sell list that will move the client towards achieving their asset allocation targets. For firms that have standard portfolios comprised of proprietary products, the system can even default to these standard portfolios making the IPS creation process even more efficient.
For corporate deployments you also have the option to customize the standard documents in the system to meet your specific corporate needs. Custom documents are easy to implement because Word templates are used making the design and implementation very straight forward.
Personal Financial Strategy
The Personal Financial Strategy (PFS) goes beyond the IPS by extending the client's investment strategy into an overall financial plan. It starts out by doing a "Current Situation" analysis that will determine if the client can achieve all of their "life goals" given their current situation and behavior. Once any shortfalls have been identified, the next step is to develop a strategy that recognizes the client's priorities, and willingness to make changes.
This strategy is developed using the PlanPlus Planit unique AutoModel™ process. The system will use parameters defined by the advisor to identify the behavior changes that are needed to eliminate any shortfalls. This is a big time saver for advisors since up to 100 what if scenarios can be ran in minutes. The PFS then generates an action plan to guide clients through necessary steps to achieve their life goals, generating maximum opportunity for your business.
The "Before and After Comparison" is a powerful illustration of the value of the advisors advice and the impact it will have on the client's situation. It will also show them how imperative it really is to make the suggested changes and to have a financial advisor help implement that strategy.
Technology
When combined with Web Services integration, this J2EE Web application becomes a seamless part of your traditional order management and account inquiry systems. PlanPlus Planit is supported by an advanced and reliable independent database. It is WebSphere enabled and can be hosted on IBM's WebSphere or other J2EE compliant web servers. Enterprise connectivity means that there is no more double entry, so managed account information is updated seamlessly.

- Award winning SaaS (Software as a Service) solution in a shared environment that sets up a branded region for your organization allowing you custom branding, integration, product master, portfolios, recommended lists, documents and more.
- A dedicated SaaS implementation on our infrastructure with a dedicated database and PlanPlus Planit implementation allowing tailoring of any and all aspects of the solution. This opens the door for proprietary asset classes and multiple regions under a central corporate implementation. Certain minimums apply in respect to the number of users.
- Inhouse hosting allows you to deploy PlanPlus Planit on your own platforms using either the recommended IBM Websphere and DB2 middleware or other J2EE web application servers or SQL database solutions.
